This project came about initially because for once the Internet did not deliver something I wanted: Holiday songs done like 8-bit video game music. I found a few, but they were mostly dance/techno versions and I wanted more traditional arrangements, just with bleeps and bloops instead of piano. That being the case, I decided I would do it myself and share it so on the chance someone else was looking for it, the Internet would not disappoint.

Having finished these little songs, I can't help but get a little nostalgic and think of grade school winter breaks back in the mid-'80s where, if we kids were good, we could rent an NES system from the local video rental store and play The Legend of Zelda, Strider, Dragon Warrior, and Super Mario Bros. until we couldn't keep our eyes open any longer.
